Let Me Say Thanks

Let me be one of the first to say thank you for the Fire Helmet SOP's. We have 2 cameras in my department along with others mounted in the units, as well as hand held ones. We have taken over 100 videos and thousands of stills in the past three years. They have proven invaluable for our department newsletter, training sessions, and also in our public newsletter. I have made several training videos using footage from the helmet cam. We are always very careful not to violate any laws especially HIPPA. a couple months ago a resident saw a picture taken by myself of an auto accident and felt that it should have not been posted. Again it was not in violation of any laws or HIPPA, but we had no written policy at the time so all video and picture taking was stopped until one could be adopted. This one is great. With only a few additions I was able to establish a policy that our Chief and Trustees were happy with and would stand behind. Thank you for saving me a lot of time and making my job a lot easier. And also for providing our department with such a great tool to use in many aspects of our job. I look forward to posting some of our work soon. Assistant Chief Steve Craiger
