Fire Helmet Camera 94% acceptance rate!

Last year, we conducted a study of the Fire Helmet Camera when we were at several conferences and with several Fire Depts. throughout the country. The response was unbelievable. Fire Instructors, Fire Inspectors and Fire Chiefs all agreed that the Fire Helmet Camera was a tool that the fire service has been missing for several years. We have had a great response from Fire Depts. all around the country that have purchased them for their dept. The only problem was that there was no SOG's / SOP's f… Continue

Hi Rob. I was wondering if you guys have or could make a car charger for the camera? The reason I'm asking is if/when we get put on out of town wildfires that we may be on for several days, it would be nice to be able to recharge the batteries from the unit instead of having to find a wall outlet.

Rob, I done what you said (charge it fully and reformat) and tried it again tonight during more training, it worked flawless. Maybe it was just a one-time deal.

Anyway, one of the officers at my station are going to be getting one now and another is going to check it out. All the guys in my academy loved the thing and kept telling me how awesome it is. Thanks for such a great product and nice website to go along with it. You should be seeing more footage from us out here is San Juan Capistrano, California real soon! Take care. - Your bro Patrick

Hi Rob and everyone, I was wondering what's the total time of non-stop recording? I used my FCII for the first time Monday night when we were doing a vehicle extrication exercise and I got the first 40 minutes of it but just when I got a hold of the cutters and was going to work my magic, it stopped filming. I was bummed big time! But it's ok, I think another guy was filming too so hopefully he got it. The file saved it after 1GB. I'm still new and don't blame the camera, I'm still learning through trial and error. My disk says it is a 4GB. Do you recommend stop filming around 35 mins or so, let it save, and then start recording again or is something messed up with mine? It's just kind of funny because I waited forever to get some action and then you see the claw open and *poof* all done! Haha.. no big deal. My life always seems to go like this so I'm used to it. Take care!

FIREFIGHTER'S PRAYER
When I'm called to duty God wherever flames may rage
grant me the strength to save a life whatever be its age

Help me to embrace a little child before it is too late
or save an older person from the horror of that fate

Enable me to be alert to hear the weakest shout
and quickly and efficiently put the fire out

I want to fill my calling Lord and give the best in me
to guard my every neighbor and protect his property

And if according to your will I am to lose my life
God bless with your protecting hand my children and my wife
