3rd Alarm Apartment Fire Allentown,Pa 4-08-09 Part-1

News Article: Firefighters in Allentown battled a blaze last night around 10:30 P.M. The fire occurred at 833 Pine St. in center city Allentown. Firefighters arrived on scene with heavy fire showing. The fire was coming out of the 2nd floor and roof area. The fire spread to the building next store and caused fire and smoke damage. One person was treated with smoke inhalation at the scene. Fire crews at a hard time reaching the fire due to the tight streets. The red cross is assisting 5 adult and 2 children that were displaced from the fire.
Personal Experience:l I live right on the 300 block of lumber and heard the engines coming down the street and looked out to see smoke. I went to the rear of the my house and saw the flames shooting out the 2nd floor rear of the structure. I grabbed my camera and started shooting. I was first on scene with the arriving engine companies. I got video of the flames shooting out the rear of the structure and the first hand lines being put into service. I also went on my roof and got shoots from the roof.
