Firefighter Rescue and Survival Training Prop

This is a Firefighter Training Prop that can be used to practice various techniques from basic skills to advanced rescue and survival procedures. The prop is very inexpensive and can be built for as little as $150 - $200 depending on the quality of materials used. It's also extremely portable - There isn't one component that's longer than 8 feet or wider than 4 feet, so it can be transported in the back of a pickup truck and set up anywhere. The prop can be assembled or broken down in minutes with only 1 - 2 Firefighters. I designed and built this prop myself, but I have NO patents or patents pending - So if you like it, feel free to build one for yourself or your department.

Train, Be Prepared, Stay Safe - SURVIVE!

I am a Fire Instructor where I am always looking for props like this one where I can build it myself and transport it with ease. Great Job, Please keep up the Great Work. There is a ventilation prop on on Fire Engineering that I built too that doesn't have a patent. It is fire fighters like you that continue to make the fire service what is was and what it should be. I heard an instructor once say, "Live to Train, Train to Live". God Bless..JKJ

Thanks for the comments and feedback - If anyone would like additional photos or measurements of the prop, feel free to email me (FFDPEK@aol.com) and I will forward them on.

There are more uses than what we show in the video, but YouTube has a 10-11 min max so we ran out of time. I recently added a "Denver Drill" hallway extension to the prop. It's also portable, breaks down for transport and attaches directly to the wall. In the future I will post another video on it.

Dale,
The cut outs on the front of the wall for stepping, did you block those areas off with 2 x 4 s on the insides of the walls? For additional support!
