WICHITA FALLS -- Firefighters have successfully put out a fire that destroyed a house at Tilden and Kessler Avenue.

We've received word that the home was shaking. Some witnesses said they heard explosions. There were reports people had smelled gas in the area for days. Oncor and Atmos were called out to investigate.

A woman was found on the ground at Tilden and Kessler, fater apparently crawling out of the burning house.

She was taken from the scene to United Regional and then flown to Parkland Hospital in Dallas. Her condition and identity are unknown.

The home is a total loss. Fire investigators continue to investigate the cause.

It took more than two hours for firefighters to get that fire out.

No one else was injured in the blaze.
